Like so many other people, I was fascinated with sharks (especially the Great White!) as a little kid. And it has remained that way my entire life. So naturally I live for that magical time of year in the first week of August… Discovery Channel’s SHARK WEEK!
Shark Week 2009 kicks off Sunday, August 2nd, and this year is all about the BITE! From classic episodes to a sneak peak of what’s to come in 2009, you can catch a piece of the Shark Week action using First on Mars.

Martha Wainwright on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Chanteuse, Martha Wainwright, turned in a breathtaking performance on last night’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon episode. The song, “C’est Toujours La Même Histoire” was from a string of upcoming performances by Wainwright to take place at New York City’s Dixon Place Theater June 14-15th. The performances will focus on the songs of French songstress, Edith Piaf, who Wainwright lists as one of her greatest influences. The recordings of the show will be the basis for a live album in the near future.
